On Friday Little Axe take on Lexington at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Little Axe, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
After a dominant win in their matchup two weeks ago, Little Axe were humbled last week. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 34-59 walloping at Bethel's hands.
Meanwhile, after soaring high against Dibble, Icarus fell to the ground. Lexington were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 13-18 to Purcell.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
