They claimed a resounding 90-56 win over Weequahic on the road. The victory was just business as usual for DeWitt Clinton, who after nine games remain undefeated this season.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tasir Barnes, who scored 12 points. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Tyhir Barlow, who scored 13 points.
DeWitt Clinton's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Weequahic, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DeWitt Clinton will take on Tuitt at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Tuitt knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matchups -- so hopefully DeWitt Clinton likes a good challenge. As for Weequahic, they will be playing at home against Eagle Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Eagle Academy is ranked 325th, while Weequahic is ranked 340th).
