The Leon Lions will face off against the Florida State University High School Seminoles at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Leon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6  runs per game  this season.
Leon's pitching crew heads into the  match  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. Everything went their way against Rickards as Leon made off with  a  12-0 win. The  victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won eight in a row.
The team  relied heavily on  Connor Borges, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. What's more,  he posted two  RBI, the most he's  had since back in February. Another player making a difference was  Kolbe Baker, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI.
 Leon was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .462. They are  a perfect 6-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Florida State University High School earned  an  8-4 win over Taylor County  on Thursday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Seminoles.
 Sam Clark was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  six innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. Clark was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 In other pitching news,  Brayden Wood looked comfortable as he  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-low in  walks (zero).
 Back at the plate,  Tegan Washington was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 4-for-4.  Cohen Tigerina was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Florida State University High School's victory bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Leon, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
Florida State University High School's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Leon hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .312. It's a different story for Florida State University High School, though, as  they've  only  averaged .251. Will they be able to contain Leon's hitters?
 Everything went Leon's way against Florida State University High School in their previous matchup  back in February, as Leon made off with  a  13-4 victory.
