Clay-Battelle got themselves on the board against Valley on Wednesday, but Valley never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Lumberjacks. The result was nothing new for the Cee-Bees, who have now won four matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Kooper Statler, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

Clay-Battelle was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Clay-Battelle's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games.
