If Melbourne were riding high off their 53-0 takedown of Marshall two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Melbourne ended up on the wrong side of a painful 14-42 walloping at Harding Academy's hands.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their match two weeks ago against Harding Academy, Mountain View were happy to find some success last Friday. Everything came up roses for Mountain View against Marshall last Friday as the team secured a 48-12 victory. Mountain View were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Mountain View's win lifted them to 2-4 while Melbourne's loss dropped them down to 4-3. We'll find out if Mountain View can add another positive mark to their record or if Melbourne can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Mountain View's step.
