The South Wake Lions lost against the North Wake S Saints back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. South Wake had to suffer through a rough 40-6 loss at the hands of North Wake S. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for South Wake in their matchups with North Wake S: they've now lost six in a row.
South Wake's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for North Wake S, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Wake will take on Hickory H at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hickory H is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for North Wake S, they will be playing at home against Wake Prep Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
