The Nicolet Knights will challenge the West Bend East Suns at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Nicolet will be strutting in after a victory while West Bend East will be coming in after a loss.
Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Nicolet turned things around against Cedarburg on Wednesday. They never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Jack Stuck made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over 6.2 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Nicolet is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 0-7 otherwise. Stuck was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024.
