The Lincoln Lancers won the last time they faced the Sheridan Rams, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Lincoln put the hurt on Sheridan with a sharp 44-18 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lincoln to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amina Abdikadir, who scored 14 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Abdikadir has scored at least 25% of Lincoln's points. Another player making a difference was Hawa Gueye, who scored 11 points.
Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Sheridan, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Lincoln will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Kennedy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Tuesday. As for Sheridan, they will head out on the road to face off against Rocky Mountain Prep SMART at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rocky Mountain Prep SMART is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
