Basketball Recap: Lakota Tech Piles Up the Points Against Florence/Henry

Lakota Tech won the last time they faced Florence/Henry and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lakota Tech Tatanka blew past the Florence/Henry Falcons, posting a 60-30 win. The Tatanka have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.

Lakota Tech was led to victory by Shania Ferguson and Lizzie Robinson. Ferguson went 9 of 15 on her way to 23 points and seven steals, while Robinson went 6 for 15 en route to 17 points in addition to eight boards and eight steals. Ferguson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Layla Janis was another key player, putting up six points along with six assists and five steals.

Lakota Tech is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Florence/Henry, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
