Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nebraska City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tarryn Godsey, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Godsey is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Kensie Briley was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Nebraska City's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Plattsmouth, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-10.
Nebraska City will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Raymond Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Plattsmouth, they will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arlington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Blue Devils in Nebraska (the Eagles are ranked 36th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 171st).
