Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wells). They walked away with a 53-41 victory over the Sacramento Country Day Cavaliers on Friday. While the Leopards didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Sacramento Country Day's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Scripps, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards. Scripps is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Ekram Thiarra, who posted 15 points.

The win was the third in a row for Wells, bringing their record for this year to 6-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Sacramento Country Day, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Wells didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-9 victory against Non Varsity Opponent on the 14th. As for Sacramento Country Day, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 44-22 win against Mammoth on the 14th.
