The Cedarcrest Red Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 26 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 59-26 victory over Mountlake Terrace at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cedarcrest.
Cedarcrest's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Laine Mckenzie, who scored 20 points along with six steals. That's the first time this season that Mckenzie scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiki Anderson, who scored 16 points.
Cedarcrest has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season. As for Mountlake Terrace, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Cedarcrest will head out on the road to face off against Edmonds-Woodway at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mountlake Terrace, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Snohomish at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Snohomish presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Mountlake Terrace in Washington (Snohomish is ranked 109th, while Mountlake Terrace is ranked 261st).
