The Littlestown Thunderbolts will face off against the Delone Catholic Squires at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Littlestown knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Delone Catholic likes a good challenge.
On Wednesday, Littlestown earned a 10-6 win over Bermudian Springs. The Thunderbolts haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Alexis Stonesifer was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Sarah Loveless was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Ashlynn Gorsuch was another key player, earning one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Littlestown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in five consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Delone Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let York Catholic get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Wednesday.
Delone Catholic got a massive performance out of Caylee Zortman, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That home run was Zortman's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Staub, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
Littlestown pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Delone Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Littlestown hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .441. However, it's not like Delone Catholic struggles in that department as they've averaged .328. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Littlestown's way against Delone Catholic in their previous meeting last Tuesday, as Littlestown made off with a 15-0 win. Will the Thunderbolts repeat their success, or do the Squires have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
