Neosho found their leader in underclassman Kaiden Asberry, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for Asberry. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrone Harris, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Monett's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Neosho, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
