Curtis not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 14th. Everything went their way against the Spanaway Lake Sentinels as they made off with an 11-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Sentinels: they've now won five in a row.

Jonathan Garcia looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Harlan Carrillo was a standout: he scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Micah Houston, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Curtis always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Spanaway Lake only posted an OBP of .318.

Curtis' win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Spanaway Lake, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Curtis wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Emerald Ridge on the 8th. As for Spanaway Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 17-0 loss against Sumner on the 5th.
