The DeKalb Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Plattsburg Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
DeKalb can finally bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They snuck past Stewartsville with a 44-40 win. The win was just what DeKalb needed coming off of a 48-12 loss in their prior contest.
Luke Miller was a one-man wrecking crew for DeKalb as he picked up 108 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 148 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes. DeKalb also got help from Landon Crockett who showed off his sure hands for 90 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Plattsburg put another one in the bag back in October to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Bishop LeBlond 37-22.
Their wins bumped DeKalb to 1-9 and Plattsburg to 8-0.
