Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McKenzie). They blew past the Riverside Panthers 86-56 on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Rebels as they're now sitting on three straight.

Jack Cupples and Landon Swindle certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Cupples went 6 for 12 on his way to 15 points, while Swindle went 6 of 14 on his way to 14 points and seven boards. Cupples is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Colt Brooks, who posted nine points and three steals.

The victory got McKenzie back to even at 4-4. As for Riverside, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

McKenzie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-47 defeat against Westview on the 16th. As for Riverside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-49 loss against Camden Central on the 13th.
