Penns Grove had a senior duo take command as Giomar Conrad scored 23 points along with two steals and Mekhi Ballard scored 19 points along with two steals.
Penns Grove is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season. As for Schalick, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Penns Grove will take on Pennsville Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Penns Grove focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday. As for Schalick, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Overbrook at 5:30 p.m. Overbrook will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Schalick surely won't give up without a fight.
