Even though the Lausanne Collegiate Lynx scored an imposing 62 points on Tuesday, the First Assembly Christian Crusaders still came out on top. First Assembly Christian secured a 68-62 W over Lausanne Collegiate. With that win, First Assembly Christian brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.
Leading First Assembly Christian to victory were Danae Kennedy and Marlena Davis. Kennedy dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds, while Davis dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. Davis has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 16 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Georgia Ahlstrom, who scored ten points along with two steals.
First Assembly Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season. As for Lausanne Collegiate, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.
