Southside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Grace Anne rose led the charge by scoring 19 points along with five steals. The matchup was Anne rose's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Madison Shaw was another key contributor, scoring 22 points.
Lincoln has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Southside, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.
