Basketball Recap: Midland Classical Academy Picks Up 11th Consecutive Victory

Midland Classical Academy came tearing into Tuesday's match with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Trinity Chargers 70-30. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 26 points or more this season.

Leading Midland Classical Academy to victory were Addie Dunn and Mariah Davis. Dunn went 10 of 16 on her way to 23 points along with six boards and five steals, while Davis dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 steals. Dunn's evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleigh Sherrill, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 12 points and four steals.

Midland Classical Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Midland Classical Academy's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points per game. As for Trinity, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
