You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Lely on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Dunbar Tigers out of the water with a 59-18 final score. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Lely was led to victory by Fara Louissaint and Zashlie Andris. Louissaint went 6 for 9 en route to 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Andris went 5 of 11 on her way to 14 points and four steals. Andris is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Reese McLaughlin was another key player, putting up eight points.

Lely was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dunbar only racked up five assists.

Despite the loss, Dunbar had strong showings from Tatiana Jean-Simon, who posted two points in addition to four blocks and three steals, and Arnya Jackson, who scored three points and three blocks. Those four blocks gave Jean-Simon a new career-high. Trinity Salines also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Lely is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points per game. As for Dunbar, their record now sits at 9-12.

Lely didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-17 victory against Fort Myers on the 30th. As for Dunbar, they will be playing at home against North Fort Myers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Fort Myers' defense has only allowed 27.9 points per game this season, so Dunbar's offense will have their work cut out for them.
