Last Saturday, Windermere Prep faced Norland in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Windermere Prep lost to Norland on the road by a decisive 63-49 margin.
Despite the defeat, Windermere Prep saw an underclassman step up: Brandon Bass jr. scored 28 points. Bass jr. hasn't dropped below 15points for 11 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Shoptaw, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy aren't just finding sucess at home, as their game on Saturday extended their overall winning streak to three. They managed a 64-60 victory over Dr. Phillips. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Windermere Prep's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
Windermere Prep didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2022, but they still walked away with a 44-39 victory.
