 Meanwhile, Elko came tearing into  Saturday's  contest with five straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Buckaroos  a   4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Elko, who have now won six matchups by four  goals or more  so far this season.
 Elko's victory bumped their record up to 8-3-3. As for Churchill County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-1.
 Churchill County might still be hurting after the  8-0 loss they got from Elko  in their previous meeting  back in September. Can the Greenwave avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
