Baseball Recap: Kelly's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Valle Catholic, Kelly was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the North County Raiders. The Hawks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

With the victory, Kelly broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4. As for North County, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kelly will be taking part in a tournament against Fredericktown at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for North County, they will head out to challenge Northwest at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
