Basketball Recap: Banneker Skates Past Woodson with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Banneker). They really took it to the Woodson Warriors for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-44 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs who have now won three matches in a row.

Banneker got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Amari Thomas out in front who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Mekhi Young, who put up ten points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Banneker's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Woodson, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Bell the next time they take the court. Banneker will head out to face Bell at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Woodson will host them at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th.
