The Carolina Forest Panthers struggled with assists on Thursday (the Mullins Auctioneers had 700% more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Carolina Forest received a tough blow as they fell 62-46 to Mullins. Carolina Forest has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mullins got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Braden Hughes out in front who scored 9 points along with 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Deyon Ford, who scored 22 points along with 7 rebounds.
Carolina Forest's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mullins, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Carolina Forest won't have much time to rest: their next game is against West Ashley at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully West Ashley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Wednesday. As for Mullins, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hemingway at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hemingway comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
