It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Kennedy Fighting Irish had no problem doing just that on Friday. They strolled past Crescenta Valley with points to spare, taking the game 28-14. The win was just what Kennedy needed coming off of a 39-6 defeat in their prior matchup.
Among those leading the charge was Rider Street, who gained 158 total yards.
Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Crescenta Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
Kennedy will head out on the road to face off against Xavier Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Crescenta Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
