Among those leading the charge was Noah Murphy, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. Another player making a difference was Ty Harper, who scored eight points.
West Rusk's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Joaquin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Joaquin is on the road again on Thursday and play against Martins Mill at 10:20 a.m. on December 14th. Martins Mill presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Joaquin in Texas (Martins Mill is ranked 79th, while Joaquin is ranked 1209th).
