Softball Recap: Foster Takes a Loss

After soaring to 18 runs the game before, Foster was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They lost 16-1 to the Interlake Saints.

Foster saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Princess Noa, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Noa has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another was Aaliyah Tab, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Foster's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Interlake, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Foster will head out on the road to take on Renton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Red Hawks at the right time seeing as the Red Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Interlake, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Tyee at 3:45 p.m. The Saints will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: the Titans will have lost three straight heading into Monday's match.
