Pennington was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. The  contest between them and the Boaz Pirates wasn't particularly close, with the Pennington Tigers falling  32-13. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the  28-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  on October 3rd.
 Boaz was led to victory by  Peyton Hall and  Grier Maples.  Hall gained 158 total yards and a touchdown, while  Maples threw for 183 yards and four touchdowns while completing 79.2% of her passes.  Maggie Patterson made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
 Pennington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Boaz, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record  this season.
 Pennington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Boaz has already played their next matchup,  a  26-0  victory against St. Clair County on the 28th.
