If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Van Meter. On Friday they take on West Central Valley at 7:00 PM. Van Meter are coming into the matchup hot, having won five in a row.
Last Friday, Van Meter put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Guthrie Center/Adair-Casey 63-6. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-6.
Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their match two weeks ago, West Central Valley were humbled. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 29-54 walloping at Mt. Ayr's hands.
Van Meter simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat West Central Valley 52-0. Will Van Meter repeat their success, or does West Central Valley have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
