Southwestern Randolph took Bunn into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 25-14, 25-20, 21-25, 15-13.
Cheyenne Dixon paced Southwestern Randolph's offense, picking up 15 kills. Dixon got some help from Hailey Kennedy and her 27 assists. Mary Kathryn Coltrane controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Bunn's loss came despite strong showings from Brooke Harrah and Kherington Bryant. Harrah had 11 digs and two aces, while Bryant had 14 digs, eight kills, and one block. Harrah has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played.
