The Kirbyville Wildcats's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Splendora Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. on December 27th. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Kirbyville earned a 54-41 win over Kelly Catholic. The win was just what Kirbyville needed coming off of a 42-20 loss in their prior matchup.
Even though Splendora has not done well against Livingston recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The stars were shining brightly for Splendora in a 41-23 victory over Livingston. That 41-23 margin sets a new team best for Splendora this season.
Kirbyville's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. As for Splendora, their victory bumped their record up to 5-14.
