Meanwhile, Buckhorn waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 28-6 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bucks have posted against the Tigers since October 7, 2016.
It was another big night for Shamarion Landrum, who rushed for 113 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.
Buckhorn was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 210 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grissom only rushed for 38.
Oxford's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Buckhorn, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
Friday's game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Wynn and Landrum. Wynn has put up some stellar numbers this year, and currently owns excellent season averages 103.1 rushing yards per game this season. For his part, Landrum has averaged 92.5 rushing yards per game this season.
