Niles won the last time they faced St. Joseph and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vikings blew past the Bears 13-4. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Niles pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for St. Joseph, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7-1.

Niles wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-2 win against Plainwell on the 6th. As for St. Joseph, they will head out to square off against Norrix at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
