On Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Caurus Academy beat the Tigers 48-42. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Caurus Academy.
 Caurus Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   John Johansen, who  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and 12  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Johansen has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Amalachi Smith, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 11  rebounds.
 Caurus Academy's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 10-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Telesis Prep, they have  not been sharp recently as the team's  lost six of their last seven games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
 Caurus Academy will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against the Huskies at 5:00  p.m. Skyview has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 4. As for Telesis Prep, they will head out on the road to  challenge  the Bulldogs at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday.
