Softball Recap: Grayville Wins Going Away Against Cisne

After only one run in their last matchup, Grayville made sure to put some runs up on the board against Cisne on Thursday. The Bison were the clear victors by a 20-3 margin over the Runnin' Lions. Considering the Bison have won six games by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Maci McClusky made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. McClusky was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Jalie Bradfield was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Briley Campbell was another key player, going 3-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Grayville moved to 7-10 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Cisne, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Grayville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-5 victory against Wayne City on the 20th. Cisne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
