McGavock had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Hume-Fogg Blue Knights as they made off with a 27-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won ten contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

McGavock's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Hume-Fogg, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McGavock will venture away from home to take on Overton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hume-Fogg, they will head out to challenge Maplewood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
