Clay County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They blew past the Lee County Bobcats 16-3. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Clay County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Lee County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.
