Roman Saiz put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted seven points in addition to five assists and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Shoemaker, who put up seven points.
Meanwhile, Mountain Vista had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 78-52 margin over the Falcons. That's two games straight that the Golden Eagles have won by exactly 26 points.
Douglas County better keep an eye on Cal Baskind. He was instrumental in Mountain Vista's win, going 11 for 21 en route to 27 points and six steals. The game was Baskind's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Oliver Junker, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds.
They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Mountain Vista was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 21 assists in four consecutive matchups.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Douglas County has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 23.3 boards per game.
