Things haven't been easy for Cumberland, and their game two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to seven. They took a serious blow against Penns Grove, falling 16-69. Cumberland were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-56.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at the half for Cherry Hill West and Lawrence last Friday, but Cherry Hill West stepped up in the second half. Cherry Hill West took down Lawrence 27-7. The success represented a nice turnaround for Cherry Hill West, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-41 loss.
Cherry Hill West's victory lifted them to 4-3 while Cumberland's defeat dropped them down to 0-7. We'll find out if Cherry Hill West can add another positive mark to their record or if Cumberland can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Cherry Hill West's step.
