Westminster Christian moved up to 230 from 259 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A Region 8. The Wildcats were able to make move up by beating Shoals Christian 28-7.
Lauderdale County extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Lexington, 14-7. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Tigers.
Clements's Marcus McNaughton and Demarcus Johnson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. McNaughton has thrown for 707 yards this season, while Johnson has 10 catches for 270 yards. Demetrius Warren from West Morgan leads the league in rushing with 409 yards.
Westminster Christian made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,027 from 8,931. The improvement was the result of 28-7 victory over the Flame last week.
