The Ralston Rams''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Plattsmouth 48-7. Ralston has struggled against Plattsmouth recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Plattsmouth to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dominic Vercillino, who rushed for 193 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Caleb Adkins was in the mix as well, providing Plattsmouth with three touchdowns.
Ralston has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Plattsmouth, their win was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-2.
Ralston will head out on the road to face off against Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waverly is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Plattsmouth, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Blair at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
