The Bucktail Bucks pushed their score all the way to 55 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 56-55 to South Williamsport. Bucktail has not had much luck with South Williamsport recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
It was another big night for Radley Knapp, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds for South Williamsport. That's the first time this season that Knapp scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Weaver, who scored eight points.
Bucktail's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-2. As for South Williamsport, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bucktail will be home for the holidays to greet Northern Potter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Williamsport, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Northumberland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 21st.
