It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 62-35, which was the final score in Southcrest Christian's tilt against All Saints Episcopal School on Tuesday. Southcrest Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-13.
Meanwhile, Ascension Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 76-36 win over Christ the King Cathedral at home. Ascension Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Southcrest Christian's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Ascension Academy, they pushed their record up to 16-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.
Things could have been worse for Southcrest Christian, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-46 loss to Ascension Academy in their previous meeting back in January.
