The Desert Christian Knights suffered their biggest defeat since November 30, 2023 on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 81-27 loss at the hands of Faith Baptist. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Desert Christian in their matchups with Faith Baptist: they've now lost six in a row.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was John Helton, who scored five points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Breton Edwards, who scored seven points.
Desert Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 15 of their last 16 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-20 record this season. As for Faith Baptist, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-10.
Desert Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against The Palmdale Aerospace Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Faith Baptist, they will head out on the road to face off against Santa Clarita Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
