Nyssa led 3A Eastern Oregon in scoring this week after putting up 40 points on Lakeview/Paisley.
The Bulldogs made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,390 from 8,891. The improvement was the result of 40-29 victory over the Honkers last week.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Nyssa takes on Vale. At the moment, Lee Long's team is in third, while the Vikings are in second.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Riverside takes on Umatilla. The Pirates have allowed 87 points this season, while the Vikings have given up 114.
