The Lourdes Central Catholic Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 67-20 victory over Hamburg at home. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Miles Poppleton was a one-man wrecking crew for Lourdes Central Catholic as he dropped a double-double on 15 points and 17 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Tesarek, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Lourdes Central Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Hamburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-13.
Lourdes Central Catholic will head out on the road to challenge Brownell Talbot at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Brownell Talbot focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Monday. Hamburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
