If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Pratt. On Friday they take on Kingman/Cunningham at 7:00 PM. Pratt are coming into the game hot, having won four in a row.
Pratt won against Hesston two weeks ago with 55 points, and Pratt decided to stick to that point total again last Friday. Pratt put a hurting on Larned to the tune of 55-0. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-0.
Meanwhile, Kingman/Cunningham didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 17-23 to Hugoton. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Kingman/Cunningham.
Pratt's win lifted them to 4-0 while Kingman/Cunningham's loss dropped them down to 1-3. In their victory, Pratt relied heavily on senior Travis Theis, who rushed for 157 yards and 4 touchdowns. Kingman/Cunningham will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
